Cort EVL K-6 Review

From many kind of Cort Guitar product may be EVL K-6 is the most qualified. The bluff resulted from it's appearance is "scary". Especially when we hear the sound it's truly designed for the rock music.
Here I try to review it based on these following aspects:
Cort EVL K-6
    1. APPEARANCE Is the main attractive thing from this guitar. Jet black color that gothic character plus inlay foster the impression that made this guitar really 'dark' nuanced. Electric guitar in general use glossy finish. But it often makes us aggravation in terms of cleanliness. For guitarists who are reluctant to have a stain that looks stuck in his guitar, sometimes glossy finish makes the use of fingerprints and a former stamp oily hands stuck to the body, so it is very troublesome to keep clean. So EVL K-6 comes with a solution to that problem. This guitar uses doff finishing the paint surface is not easy to make a dirty look like another guitar.
    2. HARDWARE The hardware side of K-6 have qualities that middle-and upper-level entrance. Body Mahony made of wood, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard. EVL K-6 is one of the few types of guitar that uses the output Cort ebony on the fingerboard where there is a 24 fret with jumbo size. Construction between the neck and body-type set-in makes the guitar more stable. 3 way toggle and 2 knobs (volume and tone) to support the configuration of 2 pieces of the legendary output EMG humbucker pickups. EMG81 on the bridge, EMG85 on the neck, where both are active pickups which soundnya supported by a 9V battery box. Pickup part is what usually most unnecessary attention of the guitarist. Naturally considering two pickup combinations are never used by the legend Dimebag Darrel and Zakk Wylde. But actually more rock and metal guitarist who uses the service of this pickup. K-6 also use the up-down tremolo that is quite soft in terms of pull and pressure. But if you find a problem in terms of stability tune of the strings, it is commonplace in the use of up-down tremolo. Maybe you should use the tremolo guitar that cost more than this if you want really stable like a guitar with a fixed-bridge or a stop-tailpiece.
    3. SCALE K-6's neck using C-type profile shape. Using a 25.5-inch scale for adjusting the fret amount . All Cort guitar production uses 25.5-inch scale 24 fret for any use, except for series G. Setting K-6 string action when you just bought at the store are usually pretty medium-lead to high. This is to provide a more harsh tone and sustain that long. Such settings are also more suitable for the portion of the balance between melody and rhythm techniques typical rock guitarist.
    4. SOUND One word which is already adequately represented by his appearance, Rock! Because using active pickups, then the influence of the type of wood and other hardware factors into the sound is generally not as if we use passive pickups. But basically use EMG81 & EMG85 output which is a solution that has a high correlation with the visual display his guitar.
CONCLUSION : Highly recommended for guitarists who fall into the category of hard rock & metal. To get the sound of rock, we do not have to make pickups boosted with an additional booster or pedal drive. The price offered was in accordance with the components used. To get a guitar with tremolo up-down with bad quality and 2 active pickups you just enough to make it legendary with a nett price ranging from $ 5,000. You can get this guitar at stores that sell MG products.

      YAMAHA Pacifica 212 Review

      NEW FACE of PASIFICA

You could say, of the many models of electric guitars in the line of Yamaha, Pacifica models pretty much in demand by the guitar lover . Some types have been derived by displaying excellent qualities, among them the series 112XJ, 1511MS, 112J, and 112V. Now, one of the newest series, namely Pasifica 212 has been launched with two options, namely Pacifica 212VFM (flamed maple) and Pacifica 212VQM (Quilted maple).

The second material model guitar which refers to the Stratocaster is made up of Alder wood for the whole body and maple (flamed and Quilted) to the top. As for the 25.5-inch scale fingerboard, rosewood used the foundation as much as 22 fret. Sednagkan for pickup, 212 Pacifica relies Alnico-V with the addition of technology Coil Tap Function to select a variety of pickup. Overall, this guitar is worth having because the quality of Pacifica models that have no need to doubt his abilities. Ibanez RGD320 Review

For the needs of rock music that relies on distortion guitars thick and contoured design that "aerodynamics", you could say Ibanez is still one of the guitar a respected product. Especially for electric guitar class. Now, the product manufacturer is the craze in the midst of market competition to electric guitar rock in the world market. As we can see the Ibanez RGD320.

With a view Metal Gray Sunburst, RGD320 really like the monster in the class of heavy rock and metal. This guitar has a clear voice articulation output in spite of tuning the strings down to the lowest tone, with a minimum scale of 1-inch neck between the fret and the original pickups already installed. The RGD's body that "sharpshaped" with easier access to reach the high notes at the fret on the neck of his guitar to help the players who prefer to bear with the low position to achieve a good balance. The design of the guitar neck is a Wizard II, or 26.5 inches with jumbo frets. The materials used for RGD320 consists of basswood for the body, then blend the three layers of maple and rosewood for the neck and the fingerboard material.
In the pickup, RGD320 rely VK-Down Tunz with polepieces pickups feature Alnico V bar is capable of providing a high output with high-end clarity. Another feature that can be obtained from this guitar is the latest model of the Edge III tremolo, one of the completeness of Ibanez guitars are already famous. Edge III is realizing all the classic functions of the original Edge tremolo but with some additions here and there to perfection. More modern. There are also two screws which can facilitate the adjustment of arm height and torque. With this guitar, you can improve your guitar play.

Gibson Les Paul in my mind

Gibson Les Paul, first appeared in 1952. Designed by a guitarist whose name is printed on the guitar. Previously using a single coil pickup, but in 1957 was replaced by a humbucker. There are various types such as the Gibson Les Paul Junior, Gibson Les Paul Special, Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, and his friends, but the most frequently used (and certainly the most famous) is a Gibson Les Paul Standard and Gibson Les Paul Custom.

The design of this guitar is actually normal, but highlight the impression including classic and blues on their performance in my opinion. If at first glance in terms of color, for Guitar Gibson Les Paul original, wrapped in brown wood with grooves on the body who showed classic impression. This guitar uses solid body (which was originally made of mahogany) because the les paul wanted this guitar has sustain 20 seconds. Of course, for wearing the solid body, making this guitar almost 2 times heavier than the guitar in general. There are two humbucker pickup selector switch with three controllers plus two volumes and two tone controls.

There's another hallmark of this guitar, which is the distance between the fingerboard and frets are small, it is easier for us to play fast and melodic melodies that require long range. This is also has a side effect, for those who big fingered bit difficult to use ... I use this guitar and was lucky I did not see a significant constraint because my finger were "tapering" hahaha.

The design of this guitar may be plain indeed, but the results sound issued truly remarkable in my opinion. A long sustain is the hallmark of this guitar. The combination of solid construction with high output pickup makes it perfect for high-gain sound that has long distorted and shrill-toot (maybe this is the reason why this guitar is the most sought after by guitarist, including me ^_^). Adjectives that might describe the sound output Gibson Les Paul guitar might like this: singing, ringing, stinging, swinging, and "gunslinging" LOL !! This makes the guitar Gibson Les Paul as my first favorite guitar as a guitarist.

Lots of guitar experts who uses this guitar as a weapon to cut the ears of his fans LOL. The guitar experts include Slash, Gary Moore, Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, etc. I also use this guitar and I am very satisfied with the performance of it's voice. I recommend for players with the genre of melodic rock, blues and rock blues to use this guitar, perfect for playing classic rock songs.

My advice if you use a Gibson Les Paul guitar as your weapon during a gig, maybe you need an impressive-looking classic American style, like using a tufted-leather fringe jacket, jeans, and if you need a hat and cowboy boots (Slash replace it with a hat magician as his trademark). As an example of action performance using Gibson Les Paul guitar at video clips of Guns & Roses (slash while still joining) entitled "November Rain", "Welcome to the Jungle", and "knocking On Heavens Door". I think three songs is very appropriate example to illustrate all the adjectives that I reviewed earlier (other than because I am also a fan of Slash) you'll understand after seeing it.

      Advantages:
      1. Has incredible sustain.
      2. Distance between the fret fingerboard and small game easier for us to explore the melody.
      3. Adding impression and nge-blues classic on our performance.
      Disadvantages:
      1. Heavier than other electric guitars .

I hope this review is useful for all of us.
